CT Event Photographer~Hartford, CT

"Oil Drum Art is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit grass roots art movement that seeks to change human patterns through meaningful artworks."  Artists transform 55-gallon oil drums into artworks that address global issues about oil and the enviroment.  They currently have an exhibit, Bang the Drum, at the Union Station Great Hall in Hartford until May 25, 2012 which is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC aka free to see!  :) There are 72 pieces; some drums are painted by local students( click HERE to find out more). They held an opening reception last Friday.....and yes, Josephine Photography was there!  There will only be a few images because you HAVE TO go to the train station in Hartford, CT to check it out in person!!! AH-mazing!

Ummm...yes, they have a catamaran inside the station and it's name is "Cat-Fish".  Check out the oil barrels on the bottom.
